People often ask me if I hold seminars or hold coaching sessions where I teach photography. I have always said no and been intimidated but last week I did my first one-on-one coaching session! I coached Emily Lyons of Emily Jane Photography and it went really well!
Emily is a young photographer, eager to learn and gain more business! She definitely has the eye and loves capturing the moment. To help teach her some aspects of posing and working with clients I had two models do a shoot with me. My models were Claire and Tyler Delin! Since they got married last winter I found it fitting to have it be an anniversary shoot for them and they got a cute Christmas card out of it. It was a win win!
It was a lot of fun teaching Emily and working with her. I went to the Katelyn James Workshop Experience two years ago and it helped me so much! Gaining knowledge from photographers you look up to is always helpful. I am even thinking about holding some kind of annual Baltimore workshop if anyone is interested! I love paying it forward and helping others reach their dreams.
We went to Cromwell Valley Park and the lighting was perfect. There is nothing like the Golden Hour! Enjoy these shots from the coaching session of Claire and Tyler along with some head shots of beautiful Emily!
I loved working with you Emily!! I know you will thrive in your business :) If you want to see Emily's post on the coaching session you can check it out here.
