I really do have the coolest job. My bosses decided that we were going to take a trip to New York for the day with our team to explore and bond. It was a blast!
Greg and Brody really believe that wasting time is a good thing and when you see great art you will want to make great art. You can read more about why they took us on the trip here. We went to the International Center for Photography, walked around, had a fabulous dinner, took a stroll in Central Park, and saw Wicked.
We had the chance to meet up with Blue Ocean's first designer, Denny McFadden, who now works at Charity Water in NYC. It was fun to hang out with him and hear about what he is working on. He trained me up in web design before he left for NYC - he is really talented.
I am not one who usually enjoys musicals, but I have to say that Wicked is one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen. The lighting, special effects, acting, and singing were phenomenal.
I am thankful that I work with people I enjoy being around and can spend the day with, while growing closer as a team. I am truly blessed.
Enjoy these images from the trip and the video at the end of the post!
Happy Wednesday!! I recently shot my co-workers Maggie and Brian's engagement shoots with their future someone's!
