Payton is ONE! How did this happen? One year ago we became parents and our greatest adventure began. Pay Pay, you are such a gift to us and we are beyond thankful for you. We want you to know that you can be whoever you want to be and grow up to do whatever you wanna do. The sky is the limit, little girl! You are unique, beautiful, kind, persistent, funny, and joyful. Thank you for being a gift to us each day!
For her party I thought it would be fun to do a flamingo theme! It has been so cold the past few months, so why not bring summer to her first birthday party! It was a lot of fun to plan and the party was so much fun. Payton's baby friends came along with many others who love her dearly. She LOVED her birthday cake and we had to cut her off because the cake was so big! She opened many wonderful gifts and got to celebrate with great friends.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this day happen! And a BIG HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY to our precious little girl. Payton Ruth, you are SO loved!
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
"Please take a moment to leave me a note on my special day. My parents will take them and hide them away until my 18th birthday!" I made these sweet cards for everyone to fill out for Payton to read when she turns 18!
Ahh love this balloon arch! Thanks for helping me Hannah!
We love you sweet girl!
Walking and falling all day, everyday.
This year flew by! I can't believe how fast she is growing each month.
I got these flamingo cup holders to put La Croix in, but they kept tipping over upside-down because it was too heavy. So it ended up being a fun little water toy area for the kids!
My sister-in-law Kristy is so talented! Thank you for drawing this for Payton! So many fun things about P!
A big thank you to Mimi Colson Leaning and Rachel for making these adorable cookies!
Poor Payton is having such bad separation anxiety right now so she only wanted me or Kevin to hold her. We had to get one pic with Pap Pap and Papa!
Love from Adilynn and Kay Kay!
A fun little craft for the kids! They made cute paper plate flamingos and pineapples.
Payton got a little shy when we sang her Happy Birthday.
And then she didn't understand why she was in her high chair and not getting any food. She had no idea what she was about to get to eat!
Thank you for making this beautiful cake Kristy Brannock and Rachel!
Cake smash at it's finest.
So much fun!
Payton loved opening all of her presents!
Thanks for the flamingo hooded towel Meg and Keith! It is adorable.
Dad, I don't know what to think about this giant flamingo.
All the babies love the shakers!
Post-party healthy dinner. What an amazing day!
We love you little girl! Happy Birthday! And thanks to all the people that drove from out of town for her party. She loved seeing each and every one of you!
