Teal Tuesday: Screen Printing

This Teal Tuesday is all about screen printing! When I was a senior at JMU, I had the opportunity to take a screen printing class and it was one of my favorite classes. Screen printing is such an amazing art form where you use paint and design to make beautiful pieces.

For a more technical definition, screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. When you screen print, each color is a different stage, meaning you print one color at a time and layer the colors. This is such a cool process because everything is so original and every piece turns out different. The paint is a little heavier on some of my finished posters and lighter on others. I will show you what I mean in my post!

This poster is a combination of verses and truths about Jesus that helps me remember to ultimately TRUST Him and His perfect plan for my life. Whenever I get stressed or frustrated, I can trust that He is in control and that He loves me so much that I don't need to worry about anything.

Check out this behind the scenes process of screen printing :)
