Shi and Joe are married!!! I am so happy for them :) They flew to America from Beijing and had a wonderful celebration with their friends and family. It was great to meet everyone and celebrate their special day.
They got married at the Elkridge Furnace Inn which is a BEAUTIFUL outdoor venue where the alter overlooks a lake. It is a historic manor home that dates back to the 1800's. How cool is that?! It made for lots of great places to take pictures of these two.
There were a couple of things that Shi and Joe did at their wedding that made it even more fun. They played a game where they sat back to back and the bridesmaids read questions that they both answered. They answered by holding up the shoe of which person the answer most resonated with. It was really funny to see how they answered especially because they couldn't see each other!
They incorporated the Chinese tradition of the groom giving tea to Shi's mother and father as a way of entering the family and bringing blessing. It was beautiful to see them become one family.
Enjoy these pictures of the Huang's!
So happy for you two!!! I know you will have a beautiful life together :)
