Amanda and Bruce are married!!! They got married at the gorgeous Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA. The weather was, in my opinion, the most beautiful day of the year. Perfect crisp fall air with gorgeous light!! These two share so much love for each other which made it a blast documenting their big day!
Here is a little bit of their story & proposal from Amanda's perspective!
We met at Home Depot in 2009. Bruce was the first to make a move and he asked me out on 7-26-2009. We went to the river then the movies for our first date. After the movie, we talked for hours in his truck.
The weekend of our 4 year anniversary, we were suppose to go to Kelly's ford to celebrate but I had just found out that I got a promotion at work and had to start immediately. So, we had to cancel our little trip. Bruce told me "don't worry we'll celebrate at home." So he woke up that Sunday morning at the crack of dawn and goes to the store. I wake up to find he had made homemade waffles, fruit and sausage and we had breakfast in bed, which is a real treat! We decided to give our presents after breakfast. I started to open my gift and he told me I had to go in order. So first up were two skillet candles, then a real simple cleaning book....I looked at him and said "you got me a cleaning book?" And he said "that's not all"....I was skeptical. So he pulls out an apron and I said "you got me an apron AND a cleaning book?".....mmh interesting. Then he flipped the apron around and it said Will You Marry Me? And I looked at him and he had the ring in his hand. And of course I said yes!
The wedding celebration was outside with the colorful fall mountains in the background. One of the bridesmaids Stephanie surprised the bride and groom by putting together little baggies of confetti for the guests to throw when they said "I do!" The expression on their faces was priceless!!
The ceremony was followed with a classy purple & gold reception with delicious food and fun dancing! It was a glorious day!! Enjoy these photos from Amanda & Bruce's wedding day!!
