Carols and Amanda are getting married at the Bayfront Club in September and can’t wait to tie the knot! We did their engagement session on a gorgeous fall weekend at Centennial Park. Amanda had the cutest outfits and their love for each other was very evident through all the photos!

Here is a little bit of their love story:

It was the day of Amanda's first pep rally at Northeast high school and Carlos' last pep rally (he was a senior and she was a freshman). After performing with the cheer team, Amanda took her seat in the bleachers and Carlos took his place on the basketball court preparing for the three-legged race and Amanda whispered to her friend that she thought he was really cute.
Turns out, that friend was Carlos' next door neighbor, he drove her to and from school every day! On the way home that day, Emilee planted the seed and that night, Carlos slid in to Amanda's DMs... on MySpace.
Amanda and Carlos met at the lunch table the next day. Amanda and Carlos dated for a while and even went to prom together, but eventually went their separate ways when Carlos left for college.
On Amanda's 18th birthday, Carlos once again slid into Amanda's DMs.
We've been together since. Amanda finished College at Towson University while Carlos did Medical school at University of MD, Baltimore. During Carlos last year of medical school and Amandas first year of PA school they moved in together. A year later, Carlos moved to Durham, NC for his residency program while Amanda finished her last year of PA school. Now they live together in Durham NC with their two dogs.

And the proposal!

It was their anniversary, Carlos booked reservations at a fancy steak house in Durham. Just after the steak, but before dessert, Carlos looked at Amanda and said "I'm freaking out, feel my pulse." Amanda felt his pulse-- he was indeed "freaking out," Amanda asked why... and Carlos pulled out the ring and asked "will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?"
