What a beautiful celebration. Jack and Katherine had a gorgeous destination wedding in Cape Cod, Massachusetts at the Chequessett Yacht and Country Club! Katherine grew up going to Cape Cod for vacation with her family so it was the perfect place to tie the knot. Jack also proposed on a Cape Cod beach which made it special for the two of them together.

Here is their proposal story!

Cape Cod seemed like the perfect place to pop the question. Katherine and her family have been vacationing there since she was a little girl and Jack was tipped off that there is a beach in Wellfleet where Katherine and her family always go to watch the sunset. After persistent spurring, Katherine agreed to go to Duck Harbor Beach on the first night of their vacation. Jack nervously grasped the ring in his pocket as he and Katherine strolled down the beach enjoying the sunset. After Jack had waited as long as he could, he turned to Katherine and said, "There is a reason I wanted to get you away from your family and watch the sunset tonight - I want to go to sleep next to you every night and wake up next to you every morning." He then got down on one knee and asked Katherine to marry him. Katherine smiled and replied, "Yes...is it bad that I guessed?"

Jack and Katherine shared their first look at First Encounter Beach and it was a very sweet moment. We took a few pictures at First Encounter Beach and then headed over to Marconi beach. When I was taking a shot of the bridal party jumping a huge wave came up and almost knocked Jack and Katherine down! Luckily one of the bridesmaids shouted out that the wave was coming and Jack swept Katherine away from the wave. Everyone on the beach was laughing and loved watching the scene.
