Maddy and Lloyd, I hate to say it, but your pup Melvin was the star of the show in your engagement session! We were watching the forecast all week for this session and thankfully the rain decided to stay away. We walked around Canton near the water and Melvin was all smiles. After taking pictures downtown, we finished the session at Sherwood Gardens! Even though all the tulips had finished blooming, the flower bushes were still showing off their beautiful colors.
Here is a little bit of their love story!
Lloyd and I met about 10 years ago through a mutual friend. We had been acquaintances for a long time within the same friend group. One day, we realized we had feelings for each other that were stronger than just friends. We quickly began to spend every single day together, realizing how much we had in common and how much fun we had together. Since then, we have fallen in love with each other more every day.
And the proposal!
Lloyd left early on a Saturday morning to go to work. Within an hour of leaving, Lloyd returned home to surprise me that he had taken off work for the day. He walked into my room with a bouquet of roses and champagne. After I said "I do," Lloyd took me to our rooftop deck to drink some champagne before taking me out to eat where we had our first date. We then celebrated with family that night!
You two are so sweet! Enjoy these images from Lloyd and Maddy’s downtown Baltimore engagement session!
