NIck and Clare are married! They tied the knot on the hillside of Rockland Estates in Fairplay, Maryland and then danced the night away under the string of lights. They had gorgeous long wooden tables with beautiful gold chiavari chairs filled with family and friends. Instead of place cards, they had each persons name written in calligraphy on a rock. All the details were gorgeous!
Here is a little bit of their love story from Clare's perspective:
Nick and I met at the end of our junior year at University of Maryland. We met through a mutual friend. It's funny to think back to a few "key players"...without them, we never would have met. I am so thankful for having him in my life. It's nearly impossible for me to imagine what life would be like without him. We dated throughout our senior year, graduated from undergrad, we each started jobs and went through graduate school at separate times. I experienced the many ups and downs of teaching and Nick grew as an architect. This past summer, he passed all SEVEN of his architect exams so he is officially a licensed architect! Nick proposed over a lookout over Lake Tahoe! It was perfect.
