Teal Tuesday: Featuring Wedding Stylist Jessica Adams

SO much goes into the wedding planning process. And when you are only engaged for 4 months you have to get things done quickly!! I knew a lot of the décor I wanted to make our wedding personal before I got engaged, but I needed help implementing it. I also had so many ideas that I needed someone to help me narrow down from my 100's of pins on Pinterest! This is where Jessica Adams came into the picture.

Jessica and I played softball together in high school, but lost touch after we graduated. She send me a Facebook message after I got engaged and asked if I needed a Wedding Planner/Stylist for my wedding. I didn't think I needed one, but after we met and I gave her the vision for our wedding and I knew I had to hire her! There was so much to do in so little time. Plus, Jessica has a gorgeous eye for design, interiors, styling, and she helped me to know which ideas I had were cheesy and which were classy.

We joked a lot about teal because I wanted to have teal in my wedding (obviously) but didn't want it to overpower our wedding! Jessica helped me with the details of our wedding by helping me pick out my outfits for the engagement shoot all the way to the beautiful details on back of Kevin and I's chiavari chairs at the reception. I am so thankful for her and all the wisdom she had during the planning process and day of styling. We couldn't have done it without her!! My favorite piece is the huge mint escort card display board she made for us. It is in our house now with wedding pictures and we LOVE IT!! If you are looking for a Wedding Stylist Jessica is your girl :) You can check out her beautiful blog here

There are a lot of people that helped with the wedding that I am thankful for. Here are some just to name a few! Thank you Helen for your GORGEOUS script handwriting on the escort card display, numbering each sand dollar, designing the little signs, and painting the Instagram chalkboard. Thank you Zach & Taylor for making the corn-hole boards :) Thanks to my mom and all of her friends for helping to set everything up and letting me take over your basement for 4 months with decorations!! Thank you Carrie for the gorgeous flowers. And of course all of my wonderful bridesmaids for all that they did. I am thankful for each of you!!

I wanted to highlight the décor from our wedding in this post. I am sure I will do another one with more shots of us from our wedding in the future!! Thank you Jessica for helping me make my dream wedding possible. And of course thank you to Katelyn and Michael for capturing these beautiful images!!

Happy Teal Tuesday!! If you want to see more shots from our wedding check out the fabulous Katelyn James :)
