Will and Addie have such a sweet relationship and can’t wait to get married in the Spring at Southern Grace Farms in Angier, North Carolina. We did their engagement session at the NC Museum of Art and it was the perfect evening! I loved getting to know these two.
Here is a little bit of their love story!
Will and I met in October of 2019 after matching with each other on Hinge. Our first date consisted of the normal first date things and ended with a hug and a time set for a second date. Our second date was on Halloween night where we laughed and talked and joked for the entire evening - we both were instantly hooked. We absolutely loved spending time together, and those first few months were spent realizing we in fact just love each other. Will is an introvert and I am en extrovert but we've discovered (and still discover daily) how to work together. When I'm loud and busy, he reminds me to be quiet and still; when he's anxious, I'm able to ground him to the things that are true. We can't wait to spend forever together!
And the proposal!
Will proposed on our way to dinner on April 30th, 2022. We walked from his house into town via the old train tracks that we've walked together one million times. I didn't notice the flowers strewn about the tracks until Will pointed them out and even then I didn't realize they were for me or what was about to happen. Will lead me to a vase of flowers and a handwritten note that I read diligently, not missing a word, even though Will was anxiously awaiting me to read a few words, understand what was going on, and look up. When I finished reading the sweet note Will was down on one knee asking me to marry him and I said "of course!" We Facetimed our families and then enjoyed a quiet dinner together before contacting any friends. After dinner Will whisked me away to a nearby brewery where I was surprised by all of our closest friends, including a few that had flown in from out of town! It was such a sweet time to be surrounded by our loved ones to celebrate our love!
