We had our first wedding in 2020 and it was definitely different than originally planned. However, Zach and Sydney’s small wedding celebration was just as special and beautiful. Especially because the wedding took place in the front yard of Sydney’s childhood home! Because of the gathering restrictions of 10 people or less, they chose to only have their parents and siblings at the ceremony. Thankfully because of technology, they were able to Zoom the rest of their wedding guests in to watch!
After the ceremony, we took portrait photos and then Zach and Sydney hosted a drive by for guests to see them. There were 40+ cars that drove by the couple with decorated cars, gifts, and lots of congratulations.
Here is a little bit of their love story:
My fiance and I met because our childhood best friends were getting married. Zach met Kyle when they were 8 from playing select baseball and I met Marina when I was 8 from 4-H. Even though we only grew up 10 minutes from each other, Zach went to private school, and then all boys high school so we never met. Fast forward to their wedding prep and we met and everything fell into place. Now over 2 years later and its our turn to get married! Zach popped the question at the Palm restaurant in DC. I knew it was coming when he kept talking about taking pictures that night, he never asks to take pictures!
