My first nephew is here! Levi is beyond precious and his two sisters Adilynn and Norah already fight over who gets to hold him. It is adorable! Levi was born 10 days early and it just happened to be the day we were supposed to take Kristy's maternity pictures!
Kristy went to the hospital in the morning on July 6 and then came home to labor for a few hours, and while she was home, I rushed over to take a few pictures for them. She was having contractions in between when the maternity photos were taken and it was crazy! A few hours later, their third sweet baby Levi was born! It was definitely worth it to get a few photos of Kristy pregnant before Levi was born. I love capturing these precious memories for my brother's family!
Levi Holt Abell! They chose the name Levi because their prayer for him is that he would serve the Lord with his entire life, and that the Lord would be his inheritance. One of the passages about the tribe of Levi in the Bible is Deuteronomy 10:8-9:
"At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today. That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance, as the Lord your God told them."
Holt is Austin's middle name so it was the perfect choice for Levi's middle name! This little guy is already so loved. He is going to have to get used to being the only little boy in our big family for a while because when Hallie comes there will be 4 nieces and he will be the only nephew! It will be fun having a little boy in the family when all of us get together.
