Raleigh Family Photographer

Having photographs of your child at each stage of life will pause time when you look back at the images. I love capturing a child's personality at every unique age and the relationship they have with their siblings and parents!

I hope to become your family photographer and have the chance to watch your children grow from behind the lens. My specialty is photographing children between the ages of two weeks and pre-teen. If you are a family with older children, I am happy to recommend another photographer that would be a better fit.

Whether your preference is a family session at the park or the first pictures with your newborn, I want to make your family feel comfortable in front of the camera.

The Family session Process

The Inquiry

The first step is filling out the get-in-touch form and sharing about your family and children (or future child, if pregnant!). If we are a fit, I will send you a contract and we will set up a date for the session. I suggest planning the session time during the time of day when your children are the happiest.

For some, that is in the morning. Others will find that it is in the afternoon. I love to shoot an hour before sunset during “golden hour” but that is not a required time. I am available to shoot sessions during the week, but have limited availability on the weekend.

The Day of the Session

On the day of the session, I will meet your family at your favorite park, a downtown location, in your backyard, or at a preferred outdoor location for the one-hour session. A deposit is not required. The full amount is due on the day of the session. I accept check, cash, or Zelle.

I will give you direction during the session but will also allow for candid moments! If the forecast calls for rain, I will contact you 24 hours before the scheduled shoot and make a plan. Beautiful images can still be made during overcast weather, but if it is raining, we will reschedule for another date with no extra fee.

The Images

I will email you several preview images from your session within 48 hours of the session. After 4-5 weeks, you will receive a link to an online gallery with approximately 75 high-res edited images. You may purchase prints through the online gallery and are free to share the images with friends and family.

Family Packages

FAMILY SESSIONS

(for families with children under 12)

$650

The family (or maternity!) session includes a one hour shoot at your choice of any outdoor location in the Triangle area. You will receive approximately 75 high resolution edited images in a digital online gallery where you can download + print the images for personal use. I also shoot a limited number of mini sessions if you are interested in a shorter session.

*Sales tax will be added to the cost of the session.

newborn sessions

$750

The newborn session includes a 1.5 hour lifestyle shoot at your home 2-5 weeks after the baby is born. You will receive approximately 75 high resolution edited images in a digital online gallery where you can download + print the images for personal use. For more information visit the newborns page.
