Raleigh Newborn Photographer

I’m a Raleigh newborn photographer based in Cary, serving the Triangle area. I have over ten years of professional photography experience, as well as being a mom of three! I know that feeling of wanting to capture every precious moment of your cozy little bundle. Allow me to create stunning portraiture of your beautiful newborn baby.

I specialize in lifestyle portrait photography, which means I come to you and use elements of your home and family in the photos. Nurseries, swaddles, bows, siblings, pets, kisses, and snuggles. This results in images that are real— intimate, genuine, and natural.

THE NEWBORN EXPERIENCE

Choosing me to capture your newborn's first moments is an honor and a joy. Often, families who hire me as their newborn photographer keep me as their annual family photographer, allowing me an opportunity to photograph their little ones in each stage of life. THE newborn SESSION PROCESS

The Inquiry

The first step is filling out the get-in-touch form and sharing about your family and children. After I gather your information, I will put your due date in my calendar so I roughly know when the session will be. You will email me when the baby is born and schedule the session for 2-5 weeks after the birth. If it is easier for you to schedule a newborn session three weeks after your due date, let's do that. Due dates can change so we can reschedule as needed.

The Day of the Session

When I do newborn photos I come to your home and take some shots of just the baby in the nursery or room with the most natural light, and then I also take shots of the family together, as well as just the mom, just the dad, etc. Siblings, pets, and grandparents are also welcome. I will give you direction during the session but will also allow for candid moments!

The Images

I will email you several preview images from your session within 48 hours of the session. After 4-5 weeks, you will receive a link to an online gallery with approximately 75 high-res edited images. You may purchase prints through the online gallery and are free to share the images with friends and family.

The Newborn Session

$750

The newborn session includes a 1.5 hour lifestyle shoot in your home, 2-5 weeks after the baby is born. You will receive approximately 75 high resolution edited images in a digital online gallery where you can download + print the images for personal use.

*Sales tax will be added to the cost of the session.

motherhood package

$1,100

The motherhood package includes a 30 minute maternity mini-session and a full newborn session. Doing both sessions together is a great option to have a session with me before the baby is born and to be able to get some sweet pregnancy photos, too!
