BEHIND THE SCENES 2015

What a year this has been! I transitioned into a full time wedding & family photographer, shot 23 weddings with my amazing husband, shot a destination engagement in St John, shot a destination wedding in Mexico, experienced our first triple header, and did over 25 family shoots. I am incredibly thankful to my amazing clients and family for their support. 

Every year I do a behind the scenes post from the weddings we shot to get a peek of what its like behind the camera. Everything from cleaning bird poop off of the groom's shoulder to putting flying veils back in the brides hair! Enjoy these behind the scenes images from 2015!!

When you take the detail shots on the highest floor where the light is the most beautiful you have to have your husband hand you each piece! Love this guy.

One of the second shooters jobs = bag carrier. And looking sexy while doing it.

The day I shot Caleb & Emily's wedding was my last day working for Blue Ocean Ideas. And the groom was my bosses son. What a beautiful way to end that season of my life! 

And then we saw this on the way to our second wedding... Love it! 

We did it! And face-timed with my parents to see Sadie. And loaded up on Taco Bell. It was amazing!! 

HAHA!! I was fixing her train while Jess was having Clint check her teeth for food. I LOVE IT!! #marriage

The "E" popped during these shots!! Glad I was able to get a few before the "E" was gone forever.

This groomsmen kept calling Kevin "Kevin Bacon" during the whole wedding and it was hilarious! 

We weren't supposed to go on this broken pier but Morgan & Zach really wanted pictures on it so we sneaked on!! And were VERY careful!! 

Two weddings this year the veil flew out!! Gotta make sure its snug when taking the veil throw shots!
