I normally don't do engagement sessions the week of the wedding, but since Brian and Rose live in California it was the perfect option, since they are in town for the wedding! We walked around Patterson Park and it was a beautiful evening with warm weather and golden hour light. These two are so sweet with each other!
Here is a little bit of their love story from Rose's perspective:
We've been together for 8 years. We met in college at Cornell University. We were both on an engineering project team (Brian as a mechanical engineer, and I ran the business team for the project). I graduated and went to work in NJ, then he went to grad school in Georgia. Two years later, he moved to LA for work, and I followed a year later. We were long distance for 4 years, with daily Skype calls and monthly weekend trips to visit - we never expected it would be that long. We've been together in LA for three years now!
And the proposal story!
On the beach! We live in LA by the beach. He had set up pictures of us through the years on the beach. (Brian's an engineer, so he built tall wooden stakes with the photos already framed and attached.) I thought we were going to dinner and a movie with his friends, and was completely shocked. It's everything from pictures from vacations together to screencaptures from Skype conversations while we were long distance. It was the perfect proposal.
Enjoy these engagement photos of Brian and Rose at Patterson Park!
