There is so much love and joy between these two. While they were dating the were long distance and would cross the bridge to visit each other. This made Sandy Point State Park the perfect spot for their engagement session! It was a little chilly, but they didn’t care. They are so happy to be together and can’t wait to get married!
Here is a little bit of their love story:
It’s hard to put into a few sentences but we were introduced through a friend. It took almost 2 weeks of talking/FaceTiming before I agreed to let him take me on a date. The first time we were supposed to meet— I stood him up. (Oops, i didn’t feel good) and he was not very happy. The next day I agreed to come to the eastern shore to meet and ever since we have been inseparable. I was living in Lutherville at the time with my parents — Jake lived in centreville with his parents made for some long car rides to see each other. The bay bridge got some getting used too! We saw each other at least 4 times a week and we were so grateful for our parentst constantly allow us to have guests over. I loved spending time in Centreville, even though for the longest time I hated that you had to drive 15-20mins to get to civilization as I called it. In April 2017, we moved into a home in Glen Burnie together. It was close enough to Northern District where Jake was an officer and still close enough to highways so I could commute to and from work. After getting engaged in Aug. 2018 we started planning our wedding and knew we wanted to move in a more safe and friendly neighborhood. January 2019, we finally bought a house together in Severn, MD and are having so much fun planning our wedding. Jake proposed on a private beach at my lake house in Lake Erie— he has planned it with my mom, aunt and dad — without me knowing!
