Whitehall Estate is such a dreamy venue. It was the perfect location for Matt and Kristin to tie the knot! They shared a First Look and we were able to get a few portraits in before the rain started. We were so thankful they did a First Look because it was pouring the rest of the day! Thankfully the indoor ceremony site was just as pretty as the outdoor location. There were string lights and big beautiful windows. It was a wonderful celebration.
Here is a little bit of their love story from Kristin's perspective!
Matt and I met at Whitlows in Clarendon. We instantly hit it off and Matt asked me on a date! We've been inseparable ever since. Lily and I moved into Matt's house in 2014. This sealed the deal for me! The first year we started dating, we took a trip to Charleston and absolutely fell in love. We have been every year since then. When we visited Whitehall, it reminded us of a southern mansion in Charleston. Matt proposed at our home in Arlington! He tricked me by saying he was taking our yorkie-poo, Lily, on a walk. Then he came in and I picked her up. The ring was on her collar. So sweet!
