Where are you located? Do you travel?

We are located in Cary, North Carolina about 25 minutes outside of Raleigh but often travel to Maryland and Virginia. I shoot weddings up and down the east coast! If your wedding will be farther away than that, we can talk about your options.

Is the engagement shoot included in the destination wedding package?

Yes! The engagement session is a great time for me to get to know the two of you as a couple. It will also help you feel more comfortable in front of my camera and more confident on your wedding day. You will be able to choose a place that is important and significant to the two of you. If you don’t want to do an engagement session we can discuss other options. We will talk more about the details of this session once your wedding has been booked.

What is included in the destination wedding package?

Getting married in an exotic place creates space for wedding photos that are unique and tropical. Our destination wedding package (similar to resorts) is all-inclusive. Travel, hotel, transportation, and meals are all included in the final price. If you are interested in bringing us with you to capture your destination wedding, please get in touch!

Do you provide black and white images?

I have a special love for black and white! They cause you to focus on the emotion rather then the colors and shapes. Black and white photography is timeless and beautiful. During the editing process, I choose certain images that catch my eye and provide those images in both color and black and white.

Do you have a second shooter for your destination weddings?

My husband Kevin is my second shooter, and he is with me at every destination wedding. Kevin takes pictures of the guys getting ready, while I am with the bride as she prepares with her bridesmaids. Kevin is able to capture different angles during the big moments of the wedding so there is a wider variety in the final image gallery.

What is your photographic style?

I consider my style to be realistic, full of light and beauty. I am a lover of natural light and love capturing moments as they happen. As I shoot portraits, I like to suggest poses based on the couples’ personality and in a way that best represents their relationship. I enjoy capturing timeless memories that will last a lifetime.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. Some venues require a proof of insurance. If this is the case for your venue, all I need is the contact email and name of your venue coordinator and I will take care of the rest.

Do I have permission to print and share the images after the wedding?

After the contract is signed, you will have permission to print and share the images for personal use. You can buy prints though the company the digital link comes from. If you are interested in having your wedding featured, you can let me know and I am happy to submit it for you. You may not, however, sell, edit, or advertise the images. I also ask that when you share my images on social avenues you tag/give credit to “Anna Grace Photography.”

What happens in an emergency situation and you are unable to photograph my wedding?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will do everything I can to find a replacement photographer with a style that is similar to mine. Although this has never happened,  I belong to several groups of local photographers and could call one or more of them if I am unable to photograph your wedding.

How many images do you typically deliver?

From the eight hours of the photos taken during the wedding, you will receive approximately 900 images. I edit each image and place my expertise into the cropping, coloring, and artistic edits. I want each image to look as realistic as possible and to match the mood and moment it was captured in.

How long do you spend taking portraits of the bride and groom on the wedding day?

I create a custom timeline for you two months before the wedding day with a shot list. I like to have at least 30-40 minutes with my couples (this does not include pictures with the family and bridal party. That is another 15-30 minutes). If you do a first look (which I highly recommend!!), I like to spend an hour or more for that session. As you know, the images and memories are the only things you will have after the wedding day, so taking time to capture those images of you and your love to hang on the walls is very important.

I am ready to book! What are the next steps?

Once you are ready to book, the next step is get in touch with me. I’d like to hear a little bit more about your love story and your wedding day! If we are a good fit, I will email you a contract and you will mail me a check with the first deposit of 1/3 of the total package price. After your booking is confirmed, I will book the hotel & air travel.
