Is the engagement shoot included in the wedding package?

Yes! The engagement session is a great time for me to get to know the two of you as a couple. It will also help you feel more comfortable in front of my camera and more confident on your wedding day. You will be able to choose a place that is important and significant to the two of you. I do not provide any props, but you are welcome to bring anything you want to the shoot. If you want your pets to be part of the shoot, bring them along! We will talk more about the details of this session once your wedding has been booked.

Is an album a part of the wedding package?

The album is included in Collection #3 of the wedding package. You can learn more about the signature album included in the wedding experience package here. If you decide you want to buy an album after the wedding day or a parent album, you can purchase it a la carte.

Do you have a second shooter on the wedding day?

I will have a talented and experienced second shooter with me on the wedding day. The second shooter takes pictures of the guys getting ready, while I am with the bride as she prepares with her bridesmaids. The second shooter is able to capture different angles during the big moments of the wedding so there is a wider variety in the final image gallery.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes! I have a special place in my heart for destination weddings. You can learn more about our packages and what is included on the destination weddings page.

Where are you located? Do you travel?

I am located in Cary, North Carolina, about 25 minutes outside of Raleigh but often travel to Maryland and Virginia. I shoot weddings up and down the east coast! If your wedding will be further away then that we can talk about your options.

Do you provide black and white images?

I have a special love for black and white! They cause you to focus on the emotion rather then the colors and shapes. Black and white photography is timeless and beautiful. During the editing process, I choose certain images that catch my eye and provide those images in both color and black and white.

What is your photographic style?

I consider my style to be realistic, full of light and beauty. I am a lover of natural light and love capturing moments as they happen. As I shoot portraits, I like to suggest poses based on the couples’ personality and in a way that best represents their relationship. I enjoy capturing timeless memories that will last a lifetime.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. Some venues require a proof of insurance. If this is the case for your venue, all I need is the contact email and name of your venue coordinator and I will take care of the rest.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes! I not only bring a backup camera body but a wide assortment of different lenses ranging from wide angles to telephotos, primes to zoom lenses.

How long does it take to receive my images after the engagement session and wedding day?

I will share a few preview images within 48 hours after the engagement session and wedding. My turnaround time is 3-4 weeks for the rest of the images. You will receive a digital link that you can share with friends and family where anyone can download the high-res images for personal use.

Do I have permission to print and share the images after the wedding?

After the contract is signed, you will have permission to print and share the images for personal use. You can buy prints though the company the digital link comes from. If you are interested in having your wedding featured, you can let me know and I am happy to submit it for you. You may not, however, sell, edit, or advertise the images. I also ask that when you share my images on social avenues you tag/give credit to “Anna Grace Photography, LLC.”

What happens in an emergency situation and you are unable to photograph my wedding?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will do everything I can to find a replacement photographer with a style that is similar to mine. Although this has never happened, I belong to several groups of local photographers and could call one or more of them if I am unable to photograph your wedding.

How many images do you typically deliver?

For the two-hour engagement session, you will receive between 100 images. From the eight hours of the photos taken during the wedding, you will receive approximately 700-900 images. I edit each image and place my expertise into the cropping, coloring, and artistic edits. I want each image to look as realistic as possible and to match the mood and moment it was captured in.

How long do you spend taking portraits of the bride and groom on the wedding day?

I create a custom timeline for you two months before the wedding day with a shot list. I like to have at least 30-40 minutes with my couples (this does not include pictures with the family and bridal party. That is another 15-30 minutes). If you do a first look (which I highly recommend!), I like to spend an hour or more for that session. As you know, the images and memories are the only keepsakes you will have after the wedding day, so taking time to capture those images of you and your love to hang on the walls is very important.

Do you shoot proposals or Anniversary sessions?

Yes! I love capturing proposals and offer anniversary sessions for $650. If you are interested in learning more about this option, please email me at ag@annagracephoto.com.

I am ready to book! What are the next steps?

Once you are ready to book, the next step is to get in touch with me. I’d like to hear a little bit more about your love story and your wedding day! If we are a good fit, I will email you a contract and you will mail me a check or pay online the first deposit of 1/3 of the total package price. After your booking is confirmed, I will block the dates for your engagement shoot and your big day on my calendar. Read more about the experience here
