Several of my spring mini sessions were cancelled due to corona, however I was able to work with a few wonderful families in Virginia! I shot baby Claire’s newborn session a few years ago and now she is 2. It was a blast working with the Jones family again and capturing their sweet girls.

So many wonderful families! A lot of wedding photographers only shoot weddings, but I absolutely LOVE taking pictures of families as they grow after the wedding day. From maternity, to newborn, to family photos year after year, it is one of the greatest joys of my business.

This shoot was super sweet for me to photograph because it was a newborn baby girl and her big sister! I was so excited thinking about Hallie and Payton together as I was taking pictures of these precious sisters. Baby Claire is SO cute and it was a joy capturing the love between this family.

One thing I will be doing differently this year is making more time for intentional friendships. Last year was all about hustle, get it done, always working, and it wasn't healthy. I am learning in this off-season how to rest and enjoy the little things.
