Bryan and Elyse are expecting their first baby girl next month and they couldn’t be more excited! They wanted to do their maternity session at the gorgeous Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Virginia because they love visiting there during the year. There is so much joy in capturing an image of a child exactly where they are at and freezing time in that moment. And it is even more fun when I am able to continue taking pictures of the same families year after year!

You may have seen these two before on my blog from their downtown Alexandria engagement session or from their beautiful DIY wedding at The Athenaeum. These two are expecting their first baby in early 2018 and they couldn't be more excited! They also have two adorable American Brittany rescue dogs that couldn't wait to be a part of the shoot.

One of my best friends is having a baby!! Helen & I went to JMU together and now she is pregnant with her first baby. Helen & Thomas are going to be amazing parents to this little one. We did the maternity shoot at Occoquan Bay and found some beautiful shade to shoot in.
