Matt & Robyn are married!! They met at Virginia Tech and tied the knot at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg on a beautiful August afternoon. They were literally surrounded by family and friends during their ceremony because they did circular seating. It was symbolic of their friends being around them and supporting them in their journey forward. It was beautiful!
Before the ceremony, Matt & Robyn shared a first look and Matt's reaction was priceless. These two have a sweet love for each other and for Jesus. It was wonderful to celebrate with them.
Here is a little bit of their love story!
Matt and I met in college. He was the guy that always took things to the next level of crazy. He road his bike too fast, never slept, and was always creating crazy things. But above all he loved Jesus. And sought Him harder than most that I knew. We both led Cru servant team together and had mutual friends. We both graduated. He moved to SC where he got a job and I stayed in Blacksburg to work. The end. Just kidding. Matt showed up at our pastors house one snowy Sunday where some people from church had gathered because church was cancelled. He asked if we could talk, I said yes. We both merged futures and moved to Raleigh a couple months later. He proposed one Saturday while we were mountain biking. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
