Matty and Angel are engaged! It was the perfect day and Matty's weeks of planning paid off. Last Thursday was Angel's birthday and Matty had the whole day planned out for them. It started with a delicious breakfast before a run at Oregon Ridge. Matty and Angel run this trail all the time together and stop at this cute bench to take pictures of the dogs. The bench made for the perfect spot for Matty to pop the question!
John and Emily are engaged! They are getting married next summer at Pond View Farm and couldn't be more excited. You may recognize Emily from Missy and Mike's wedding at Dulany's Overlook this past spring. Emily and Missy are sisters and now they are both AGP brides! This will be the third set of sisters we have photographed and each celebration has been amazing. I love getting to know these wonderful families and capturing special memories for each of them.
Taylor and Courtney are getting married next summer at Pond View Farm and they can't wait! They chose to do their engagement session at Larriland Farm which was special for them for a few reasons. Taylor's Grandfathers' uncle used to own the property. How crazy is that! Courtney also fell in love with Larriland Farm in 2005 when she began going every October for Pumpkin picking.
We had a plan to do Brian and Emily's engagement session at Dumbarton Oaks but when we got there, they told us they were doing renovations and the gardens were closed for the season. We were sad but made the best of it! We walked around Georgetown and found an adorable little park, a pretty hilltop, and lots of beautiful trees to take pictures in front of.
If you are a beach lover you will love this post! Susan and Stephen are getting married next summer and couldn’t be more excited. They recently added a fluffy sweetheart to their family so he had to be in the engagement shoot! Luke is a beautiful golden puppy who loved walking around on the beach with his parents. He even wore a few different signs and the cutest bowtie!
This was the first time I did an engagement session in a museum and I loved it! Normally it would be too dark inside, but the National Gallery of Art East Wing has a huge beautiful skylight that lets in all of the natural light. We walked around taking pictures with paintings that Greg and Larisa enjoy. And I had them dance in the middle of the museum which was awesome!
It is always special when I have the opportunity to do an engagement session for one of our close friends! Kevin and Colin have been best friends since high school and have stayed close ever since. Funny enough, Kevin was also the third wheel with Colin & Kelsey back in the day. These two have been dating for over 10 years and are now finally getting married next year!
Tommy and Allie are such a sweet couple. They were set up by close friends and hit it off! A year later, Tommy proposed at Loch Raven which made for the perfect spot for their engagement pictures. We started off with a few pictures in a canoe out on the water and the geese were trying to photo bomb the whole time!
It feels amazing to be shooting again! We are officially back in business after being off for a few months having baby girl Payton. Joe and Kristine are a very sweet couple who are getting married this fall at the Oaks! These two love to fish, hike, and spend time in the outdoors together. They also love to travel!
This was our last engagement shoot of the year and it was one of my favorites! Matt & Kristin have a cute little pup named Lily who we secretly think is our pup Sadie's twin sister!! They look so similar and are the same age, it is crazy. We did the engagement session in Old Town Alexandria and thankfully the December weather cooperated with us!
I have been a part of the Nevermore CrossFit community for over four years now. Time really flies! The people I workout with have become like family and I am so thankful for them. Emily & Joe are two of those people! A few weeks ago, Joe messaged me that he was getting deployed and wanted to propose to Emily before he left. I was so excited for him and honored to document the big moment!
