Alex and Allie met through mutual friends who are actually officiating their ceremony! They fell in love in Philadelphia and moved to Chicago together so that Allie could attend a full-time MBA program. Now they are living in Philadelphia and can’t wait to tie the knot in a few months.

We did their engagement session in Downtown Annapolis throughout the historic streets and by the water. It was a beautiful summer night in Maryland!

Here is a little bit of their proposal story:

Alex proposed during a trip we took to Portugal. We were staying at a beautiful vineyard in their Duoro Valley region, and at sunset he gave me a box that he said was a belated birthday gift. Inside the box there were two levels - on the top level (which I saw first) there were little souvenirs from all of the experiences Alex and I have shared, like the cap to the bottle of wine we shared on the night we first said "I love you". There was a flap that you could pull up, and under the flap was the ring! Then Alex got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!
