Kyle & Kaitlyn | Engaged {Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA}

Kyle and Kaitlyn met earlier this year online, quickly fell in love, and are getting married next fall! These two are crazy about each other and can’t wait to get married. We did their engagement session at the gorgeous Longwood Gardens in PA. It was raining on and off but thankfully we were able to get amazing shots in-between the rain! As we were taking photos in front of the fountains, the water show started and the music went off with the fountains going up in patterns. It was amazing!

Here is their love story from Kaitlyn’s perspective:

Kyle and I met in February...of THIS YEAR! Yep! February 8th of 2018 was our first date at a wine bar in Hampden. He is the first man who has ever made me nervous. I am quite confident and secure in myself and don't get rattled by much but when he walked in, my heart felt like it stopped and I felt I couldn't string a proper sentence together for a solid 15 minutes. Kyle and I both had been in a lot of relationships, some long, some shorter, and it had never worked out for both of us, so before our date I told him that I'm pretty "get down to business" at this point and if I don't see it, I don't see it. Well, 5 hours past and we were kicked out of the bar because they were trying to close! We were essentially inseparable after that. We talked about important topics really soon, like kids, marriage, careers, money, politics, religion, and other heavy hitting topics and we just blended to nicely together and we knew pretty early on that this was very special and different. We became each other's "person" very quickly.

And the proposal story!

We were down the shore in LBI for Memorial Day Weekend and his parents and sister were coming into town that weekend too. We arrived Thursday night and had Friday together, as his family wasn't coming until Saturday. We spent Friday at the beach and went back to his families shore house. Kyle suggested we walk Norman (his dog) on the beach and I did NOT want to go! I was really surprised he wasn't suggesting happy hour, because we frequent happy hour- A LOT. I finally agreed to go, but it was veryy windy so I grabbed a sweatshirt, did my hair and makeup and we went to the beach. We got there and I saw a photographer in the distance photographing the beach, and I didn't think anything of it. A few moments later he stopped me on the beach and started to say the sweetest things. I swear my heart left my body and I just knew! May 25th he popped the question in LBI during the most beautiful beach sunset, with custom champagne glasses with our names on it, champagne and a photo shoot! The next night I got another surprise at dinner where both my parents, and their significant others traveled to the beach to celebrate with us! It was such an emotional weekend!
