The light was epic for Mac and Brooke’s spring engagement session at Hunt Valley Country Club in Phoenix, MD. These two are smitten with each other and can’t wait to tie the knot at The Grand Lodge of Maryland this summer!

Here is a little bit of their love story:

Mac and I met during our freshman year of college on the swim team. A couple weeks into the fall semester, the team participated in their annual three mile run to a local reservoir, and the two of us ran together, at the very back of the group, solidifying the beginning of our friendship. Weeks later I needed some extra help in Calc 100 before taking our 2nd exam. I asked Mac if he had some time to do practice problems together after swim practice and within minutes of our first study session, I could tell there was a spark between us. We became close friends and on December 7, 2013 we officially started dating.

And the proposal story!

Mac proposed on August 8, 2021 during my family's annual beach week in Bethany Beach, Delaware. My family has been going to Bethany every summer since I was a baby and this was Mac's 8th annual trip with us. My sister told me our family was allegedly going out to lunch to meet her boyfriend's parents for the first time and asked if I wanted to take pictures on the beach beforehand (if you know me, I never turn down a photo opp). When we got on the beach for "pictures," Mac got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We spent the weekend celebrating with my family and his parents.
