This was a wedding for the books! Kevin and I traveled to Louisiana to capture Steven and Clare's big day. These two shared a tearful First Look and we had the opportunity to take portraits at the most beautiful farm with Spanish moss! They tied the knot at St. Michael Catholic Church and had a wonderful ceremony. Steven and Clare celebrated with family and friends at their reception at the Grand Marais with an exciting popper exit. It was the perfect day!
Here is a little bit of their love story from Clare's perspective!
We met 5 years ago at a piano recital! I was his brother's piano teacher and he came to the Christmas recital. After that he started bringing his brother to piano lessons and after awhile invited me to a bible study. I invited him to the youth group I helped out with and he came to youth group. We started texting and went on our first date soon after! We've been dating ever since!
And the proposal!
He took me to the same restaurant we went to on our first date and had us sit in the same booth and ordered the same meal! He then took me to my office (we will be living in the back of my office once we get married, it's a house and office combined!) and had set up rose petals and hanging lights everywhere! He blindfolded me and led me to the setup and took off the blind fold and he was down on one knee behind me. It was perfect!
