You may have seen James on my social media as the cute boy with the long hair that hangs out with Payton a lot (we may have started the hashtag #JandPayPay)! Payton and James were born 13 days apart and are already the best of friends just like their mommies! It has been nothing short of a gift to have a friend with a baby at the same exact stage as you.
Walker's Overlook was the perfect place for Greg & Rebecca to tie the knot. This venue is beautiful with the line of trees, charming house, wooden fence, and open tent reception area. It is gorgeous! It was sentimental to me as well because my sister got married at Walker’s Overlook last summer.
I haven’t blogged many personal posts since having Payton because it is hard to find the time! However, I wanted to blog our family trip to Rehoboth Beach because there were too many cute pics to share. And I thought it could be helpful to share what worked or us as far as taking Payton to the beach!
People ask me sometimes if I get bored shooting weddings since it is the same event every time. I always tell them that I love it each time and I never get bored! Every couple of ours is different and the celebration of their relationship is unique to them. These two were no exception! Caleb and Jenny tied the knot at Church of the Resurrection and it was a beautiful ceremony. Before they said, "I do" they shared a sweet First Look in the sanctuary.
Whitehall Estate is such a dreamy venue. It was the perfect location for Matt and Kristin to tie the knot! They shared a First Look and we were able to get a few portraits in before the rain started. We were so thankful they did a First Look because it was pouring the rest of the day! Thankfully the indoor ceremony site was just as pretty as the outdoor location.
David & Emily are married!! This wedding was very special because four years ago I shot her sisters wedding at this same farm. And Olde River Farm just happens to be her childhood family home! It was the most beautiful Saturday afternoon; the sun was shining and there was a cool breeze blowing. Their ceremony was on the top of a hill next to the family home and it was beautiful.
It is always special when I have the opportunity to do an engagement session for one of our close friends! Kevin and Colin have been best friends since high school and have stayed close ever since. Funny enough, Kevin was also the third wheel with Colin & Kelsey back in the day. These two have been dating for over 10 years and are now finally getting married next year!
Peter and Lisa tied the knot at Tabrizi's overlooking the beautiful Harbor. The bridal party got ready at the Lord Baltimore Hotel before heading over to the wedding venue. Then the bride and groom shared a First Look and spent some time walking around for portraits. It was a gorgeous day to get married!
Jim and Kim are married! They tied the knot by the water at Herrington on the Bay with friends and family surrounding them. It was a beautiful celebration! Kim and Jim shared a First Look and then we walked around the property for portraits. Kim had a gorgeous veil that was so much fun to photograph!! They danced the night away under the beautiful chandelier.
Tommy and Allie are such a sweet couple. They were set up by close friends and hit it off! A year later, Tommy proposed at Loch Raven which made for the perfect spot for their engagement pictures. We started off with a few pictures in a canoe out on the water and the geese were trying to photo bomb the whole time!
Tim and Mary Ellen tied the knot last weekend at the beautiful Grey Rock Mansion in Pikesville, MD. Their wedding was a celebration full of joy and love. Mary Ellen was the ultimate DIY bride and handmade all of the decor! She even made the bridesmaids bouquet and her bouquet. Amazing! Their initials spell out TiME (Tim & Mary Ellen) so the theme was clocks and time. So creative!
John and Elizabeth are married!! These two tied the knot at Pier 5 Hotel in downtown Baltimore. They were able to share a First Look and take some portraits outside before the rain started! Elizabeths nephew was the ring bearer and he did such a good job. And then Elizabeth and John when through the sword arch for their exit!
