I have been a part of the Nevermore CrossFit community for over four years now. Time really flies! The people I workout with have become like family and I am so thankful for them. Emily & Joe are two of those people! A few weeks ago, Joe messaged me that he was getting deployed and wanted to propose to Emily before he left. I was so excited for him and honored to document the big moment!

Emily loves to ride horses and keeps her horse at Helmore Farm. Joe was sweet to pick a spot to propose that means so much to her! We set up the photo shoot to take a few pictures of the two of them together with their dogs and the horse before Joe left the country. Little did Emily know that during the shoot Joe would get on one knee and ask her to be his forever! Emily was so surprised and overwhelmed with joy. The center diamond of Emily's engagement ring belonged to her grandmother which is very special. Joe did a beautiful job of picking the setting and the band.

After Joe proposed, we did an engagement shoot at the beautiful farm. Some of the gorgeous fall leaves were still on the trees which made for the perfect pictures. Enjoy these images from Joe & Emily's proposal and engagement!
