The past few weeks I have gone into full out "nesting" waiting for baby P to arrive in hopefully under 3 weeks! While we are waiting, I thought it would be fun to do a milk bath maternity session a few weeks before I was due since my belly would be very large. My good friend Hannah told me she would take the pictures and I was so excited! In case you haven't heard of a milk bath, it is exactly what it sounds like. A bath that uses milk instead of water, and when you add floating flowers it makes for a beautiful photoshoot.
I used instant dry milk instead of actual milk because it is much cheaper and creates the same affect. I chose light pink and white flowers to create a feminine, soft, and romantic feel. The dress I was wearing was from Amazon, believe it or not! As the months go on and I am nearing the end of my pregnancy, I have realized how fast life passes us by. I want to live in the moment and do things that are different and exciting! That is one reason I wanted to do this shoot, because why not!? We had a blast and now I have some gorgeous images of my belly at 36 weeks pregnant. Don't be afraid to be different and have fun! You only live once.
