Stephen and Caroline had such a gorgeous wedding weekend. The weekend started off with a stunning rehearsal dinner down by the water with their closest family and friends in attendance. Elizabeth Bailey designed the perfect tuscan Italian feel with fresh fruit and vegtables, herbs, tall candles, and greenery on everyone’s plates. The hanging lights and long table were the perfect details for their evening. And of course the charcuterie boards and main course were delicious!
Our last wedding of the year was amazing! Brand and Emily tied the knot under the palm trees overlooking the water at Herrington on the Bay with their friends and family surrounding them. It was a chilly fall day but the sun was shining on these two! They shared a beautiful first look and danced the night away in the tent. Their cake was so creative and one of the cutest wedding cakes I have ever photographed! They had a little pup figure that looked just like their dog Duke sitting next to the cake and he looked like he took a bite. So adorable!
Annie Stuart and Page are married! They shared a sweet first look behind Annie Stuart’s childhood home before the dark clouds rolled in. After we did some portraits the rain started and it poured for almost an hour. They pushed back the ceremony time and then the sun came out just in time for them to tie the knot! The ceremony overlooked the beautiful golden fields on Annie Stuart’s family farm with their friends and family surrounding them. They had an amazing golden hour and even got a few photos with their pup Winnie!
The two words I would use to describe this wedding would be joy and beauty. Caroline and Stephen had the most perfect weather on their wedding day at Brittland Manor. The girls got ready in the beautiful bridal suite before Caroline and Stephen shared a tearful first look. The entire day these two were giddy with each other and were so excited to tie the knot!
This wedding was one for the books. Not only was it the largest wedding we have ever shot, but it was extra special because Sara was my neighbor growing up. Connor and Sara have such a beautiful relationship that centers around their love for Jesus. They tied the knot overlooking the blue ridge mountains with hundreds of people they love surrounding them, including their 10 adorable flower girls! Connor and Sara both teared up as the barn doors opened and she walked down the aisle with her dad. It was the perfect moment!

The forecast called for a thunderstorm but it didn’t rain the entire day! The sun was shining and the joy was evident. These two also had their pup of honor show up for a few photos on the dock which was adorable!
These two tied the knot under the willows with their friends and family surrounding them at Pond View Farm. Joe and Kelly originally planned on getting married last year but had to quickly make the decision to reschedule due to COVID-19. The day was perfect and the storm held off for them to share their vows and take photos afterwards. One aspect that made their day very special was a recorded speech from one of Joe’s groomsmen that is currently deployed. It was such a wonderful surprise!
This wedding was an absolute dream! We love shooting destination weddings and Chris and Leanna’s wedding was one for the books. These two tied the knot on the warm sandy beach of Jamaica at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall with their family and closest friends surrounding them. The beautiful breeze and clear water ocean was the perfect backdrop for their wedding!
We had our first wedding in 2020 and it was definitely different than originally planned. However, Zach and Sydney’s small wedding celebration was just as special and beautiful. Especially because the wedding took place in the front yard of Sydney’s childhood home! Because of the gathering restrictions of 10 people or less, they chose to only have their parents and siblings at the ceremony. Thankfully because of technology, they were able to Zoom the rest of their wedding guests in to watch!
This post took a little longer than normal because of how busy we were this past fall! We had an incredible wedding season in 2019 and worked with so many amazing couples. I wanted to showcase some of our favorite images from the season. Each wedding was so different and capturing the different love stories is a joy!
