Shawn and Elise are married!! It was a beautiful fall day at Chanteclaire Farm as these two tied the knot overlooking the lake. They shared a tearful First Look before the ceremony and were full of joy the entire day. Both Shawn and Elise are also big WVU fans so they both wore stylish socks for the wedding. It was adorable! Their cute pup Cole was also at the wedding for a few pictures. He had a bandana around his neck that said, “My humans are getting married.”. So cute!
Scott and Taylor got engaged this summer and are getting married in November at the Elkridge Country Club! We started their engagement session at the Hampton National Historic Site in Towson and finished the session at their home. It was a gorgeous evening with a beautiful golden hour and lots of laughs. These two are adorable and it was a blast taking photos of them!
Lloyd and Madeline said, “I do” as the sun was setting at Wye RIver Conference Center in Queenstown, Maryland. Before the ceremony, they shared a beautiful first look and exchanged personal vows with one another. There were happy tears and many laughs! Sometimes I blog personal posts just to have an online journal of our trips. But I know some of you like to see our fam together so that is why I am sharing! We had a blast in Maine this year, especially because it was our first time taking the girls. I grew up going to my great grandfather’s cabin in South Addison, ME since I was a little girl. And my dad went for months in the summer when he was little as well. It is also a very special place for me because it is where Kevin proposed! It was so fun to take Payton the spot where Kevin asked me to marry him 6 years ago.
Josh and Hannah are finally married! It was a wonderful celebration at St. Moses Church with their friends and family in attendance. Josh, his brothers, and dad performed a beautiful worship song together which was very special. There were many tears of joy! Josh and Hannah danced the night away at The Accelerator Space under the hanging lights and everyone had a blast celebrating the newlyweds.
Engagement shoots are a great way to get to know your photographer and learn how to be more comfortable in front of the camera. William and Jennifer are naturals and are so in love with each other. We did their engagement session at Hayfields Country Club in Cockeysville where their wedding will be this fall. It was a gorgeous golden hour and we had so much fun taking the golf cart to the willow tree, by the pond, and all around the golf course!
What a trip! Our little family takes an annual beach trip every summer and it is always one of the highlights of my year. We like going to a different Airbnb every year to explore new places and this year we chose Emerald Isle in North Carolina. It was a long drive but completely worth it! A lot of people asked me for tips for taking babies to the beach so I wanted to share a few things that were helpful to bring and do while we were there!
Cameron and Kelsey are married!! It was a romantic and beautiful summer afternoon as these two said, “I do” under the weeping willow trees at Pond View Farm. Cameron and Kelsey shared a sweet First Look and were full of joy when we were taking their portraits. The slate blue bridesmaid dresses and poppy flowers in the bouquet made for simple and classic details. Kelsey’s mom also hand-cut all of the circular menus on the plates and designed the craft beer sign! It was an amazing day!
This was a wedding for the books! Jessica and Leo tied the knot at the beautiful William Paca House in downtown Annapolis on a warm summer day. First they shared a First Look at the statehouse before meeting their bridal party at the venue. The entire day Leo and Jessica were laughing with each other and had the best day becoming husband and wife. They were a joy to photograph!
Maddy and Lloyd, I hate to say it, but your pup Melvin was the star of the show in your engagement session! We were watching the forecast all week for this session and thankfully the rain decided to stay away. We walked around Canton near the water and Melvin was all smiles. After taking pictures downtown, we finished the session at Sherwood Gardens! Even though all the tulips had finished blooming, the flower bushes were still showing off their beautiful colors.
Steven and Gina got engaged last summer and they are getting married in 2020! They love visiting downtown Annapolis so it was the perfect location for their engagement session. After we took some photos downtown, we went to Quiet Waters Park to take a few pictures with their pups. They are adorable!
Chris and Lindy are MARRIED!! The forecast was calling for rain and they were nervous they would have to have the ceremony inside, but it decided to clear up right before Lindy walked down the aisle! When these two are together they are in their own little world and it is beautiful to watch. They had a morning wedding which meant it was only fitting to have brunch for lunch! The custom omelet and pancake/waffle bar was delicious. It was an amazing wedding!
Angel and Matty are MARRIED! Our first wedding of the year and it was a unique and beautiful day. Matty and Angel tied the knot and celebrated with friends and family on a gorgeous April day at the 2640 Space in Baltimore. Both of their dogs were also included in the celebration! The two pups walked down the aisle in adorable little dresses. They were so excited to see their humans become a family!
