What a year this has been! I transitioned into a full time wedding & family photographer, shot 23 weddings with my amazing husband, shot a destination engagement in St John, shot a destination wedding in Mexico, experienced our first triple header, and did over 25 family shoots.

The final wedding of 2015 was a success! Melanie and Nick tied the knot on the beach at the Iberostar Paraíso Lindo in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was warm and sunny as they exchanged vows becoming husband and wife!

Meg & Andrew are married!! These two tied the knot in the DC War Memorial with their friends and family cozy under the marble roof. It was drizzling a bit during their first look and ceremony but that didn't stop these two from having the best day of their lives!

Oh how I love fall weddings! There was a gorgeous orange and red tree at Turf Valley and it was glorious for the bride & groom portraits. Megan and Adam tied the knot outside under the willow trees with family and friends in attendance.

Nina & Zach's wedding at Elkridge Furnace Inn was one for the books! Not only have they known each other since they were eight years old but they had birds at their ceremony! The groom loves birds so Nina's gift to Zach was having a hawk fly the rings to the best man during the ceremony!!

Leah and Chuck met at a bar called "No Way Jose" (so crazy!) several years ago and are now husband and wife! They tied the knot at Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown, Maryland with lots of happy tears. Emotional grooms are my favorite!!

Taylor & Bryan are married!! Long gold bridesmaid dresses, golden hour light, & gorgeous gold decor. This wedding was one for the books! Taylor & Bryan tied the knot under the trees at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont, VA.

Mary & Nick are married!! These two have known each other for 10 years and are finally husband and wife! They tied the knot outside in beautiful September weather at Rockland Estates in Fairplay, Maryland.

The rain held off for Vanessa & Jonathan's bayside wedding at the Chesapeake Inn. Their outdoor ceremony overlooked the water as they vowed to be husband and wife! During the ceremony they each gave a rose to their mother and also had wine case ceremony.

Matt & Robyn are married!! They met at Virginia Tech and tied the knot at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg on a beautiful August afternoon. They were literally surrounded by family and friends during their ceremony because they did circular seating.

This was a wedding for the books! The morning of their wedding Veronica & Stephen planned to go down the Slide the City in Lancaster in their rehearsal dinner attire! They were the hit of the event.

Nothing could have ruined Dana & Austin's wedding day. It was pouring cats and dogs during their ceremony yet they were filled with joy the whole way through! Then during their portrait time, God brought the sun out for an hour.

Liz & Kyle tied the knot on a perfect Saturday afternoon in June. They exchanged vows at their home church and celebrated their reception at the Country Club of Maryland! There was mint details, outdoor corn hole, and a night filled with dancing!
